Healthy Pizza Crust? Yes! (Vegetarian)

Updated: Dec 20, 2020

Enjoy any toppings on this healthy cauliflower pizza crust and you will never feel guilty about eating pizza ever again! :)

Ingredients:

  • 2 bags of riced cauliflower (fresh or frozen)

  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup of any other grated cheese that you prefer

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp. dried rosemary

  • 1 tsp. dried oregano

  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper

  • salt and pepper to taste (don't add too much salt because the cheese contains a lot of sodium as is)

*If there are any other types of herbs you would like to add or take out then go for it! Make it your own and experiment with different herbs.

Directions:

Turn oven on to 400º F

1. Steam the cauliflower. When done, use a potato ricer to drain all of the water out of the cauliflower. (This is the most important part!)

2. Add all off the ingredients from the top together with the cauliflower that's been drained out of all the water and mix everything together with a spatula (you don't need to get your hands dirty unless you wish to).

3. Prepare a pizza pan and add parchment paper. Spray olive oil.

4. Put the cauliflower mixture in the pizza pan and with the spatula and shape it into any shape you prefer (I usually do round).

5. Put in the oven for about 25 min, until golden brown. Keep an eye on it to not burn.

*Add any topping to this cauliflower crust just as you would when making a regular pizza. You can even make your own homemade tomato sauce to go on top of it! (check in recipe list on how to make your own homemade pomodoro sauce)

Enjoy this delicious pizza crust without any guilt! :)
